The fine print
Hirers must hold a full, valid driving licence and meet our minimum age and licence-history requirements for the chosen vehicle. We reserve the right to refuse hire where eligibility or identification cannot be satisfactorily verified.
A reservation is confirmed once we have acknowledged your booking and the required identification and deposit arrangements are agreed. Reservations made through this website are requests until confirmed by our team.
Hire charges may be settled by card or cash as agreed. No payment is processed online at the point of booking. A refundable security deposit is required prior to the commencement of every hire.
The security deposit is held for the duration of the hire and refunded in full upon safe return of the vehicle in its original condition, subject to inspection, fuel level and absence of penalties or damage.
Comprehensive insurance is arranged on each hire. The hirer is responsible for the insurance excess in the event of an at-fault incident, and for any damage not covered by the policy.
Each hire includes a daily mileage allowance as stated at the time of booking. Excess mileage is charged at the agreed per-mile rate.
The hirer agrees to use the vehicle responsibly and lawfully, to use the correct fuel, and not to permit any unauthorised driver to operate the vehicle. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
The hirer is responsible for all fines, penalty charges and tolls incurred during the hire period, and for any loss or damage arising from misuse or breach of these terms.
Cancellation terms are confirmed at the time of booking and may vary by vehicle and season. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change.
